About
Iām Kyla Miller, LSWAIC, an Associate Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been practicing since 2024. I was born and raised in Everett, Washington, and I have lived in both Louisiana and Texas for short periods. My husband and I have settled back into our home area in Kitsap County where we both went to South Kitsap High School (Go Wolves!). I am a new mother to a wonderful baby boy, and we have the goofiest German Shepherd, Princess Leia. I enjoy reading and doing puzzles, and I am the biggest fan of J.R.R. Tolkien and all of his works. In our spare time, we enjoy daytrips to new places, long drives, hiking, concerts, and finding the best slice of pizza!

My work is rooted in the belief that meaningful change happens when clients feel supported, informed, and empowered in their treatment. My professional background spans human services, community mental health, and specialized therapeutic support for adults experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns.
I began my career in social services after completing my BASW at the University of Washington, working directly with children and families in high-need environments. This early experience shaped my commitment to providing care that is both compassionate and clinically sound. After graduating with my MSW from the University of Texas at Arlington, I transitioned into adult mental health therapy, where I continue to focus my clinical work.
My approach to therapy is a blend of Motivational Interviewing (MI), person-centered principles, and strengths-based perspectives, supported by additional training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with specialization with psychosis. I draw on an eclectic approach to support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, grief & loss, life transitions, and more complex mental health conditions, including psychosis and personality disorders. My goal is to provide effective and individualized care that supports both stabilization and long-term wellbeing.
At Green Hill Wellness, clients can expect a therapeutic environment that emphasizes safety, collaboration, and clinically informed decision-making. I value transparency, client autonomy, and the use of evidence-based interventions to promote sustainable progress. Whether you are seeking symptom relief, improved coping strategies, or support in navigating significant life challenges, I am committed to providing treatment that is grounded, steady, and aligned with your goals.
I am under formal supervision by Tanya Martin, LICSW. Credential #LW60247128 with the Washington State Department of Health
